American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works
AIC is a national membership organization of conservation professionals dedicated to preserving the art and historic artifacts of our cultural heritage for future generations. Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas on conservation, it advances the practice and promotes the importance of the preservation of cultural property by coordinating the exchange of knowledge, research, and publications. Its Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice defines appropriate conduct for the field.

Art & Science Collaborations, Inc. (ASCI)
ASCI's mission is to raise public awareness about artists and scientists using science and technology to explore new forms of creative expression, and to increase communication and collaborations between these fields.

Art Dealers Association of America
Founded in 1962, the ADAA is a non-profit membership organization of the nation's leading dealers in the fine arts. Its purposes art to promote the highest standards of connoisseurship, scholarship and ethical practice within the profession and to increase public awareness of the role and responsibilities of reputable art dealers. ADAA members deal primarily in paintings, drawings, sculpture, graphics and photographs from the Renaissance to the present day.

Art History Webmasters Association
Founded in 1997, the AHWA's aim is to provide art historians with working tools and structures comparable to those of similar disciplines in the social sciences. Art Libraries Society of North America
ARLIS's mission is to foster among art librarians better communication and cooperation, and to provide a forum for ideas, projects, and programs. It provides a wide range of programs and services, including conference programs, projects, and publications, such as ARLIS/NA Update and Art Documentation.

Artists' Rights Society
ARS represents the intellectual property interests of its artist members. As the appointed representative for member artists and artists' estates, it provides liaison services to those who wish to secure permission to reproduce art works in printed and electronic media, as well as in products based on an artist's work. Thus, ARS protects members' rights against piracy, illicit use, and copyright infringement by monitoring the use of what works, while providing reputable publishers and producers of commercial goods with a one-step clearing house for therights and permissions interests of most prominent twentieth century artists.

Association of Art Historians
Formed in 1974 to promote the study of art history, AAH is the United Kingdom's national organization for professional art historians and researchers, including all those studying and working in higher education, schools, museums and galleries, and independent art and design historians. It represents the interests of professionals in all aspects of the discipline, including art, design, architecture, photography, film and other media, cultural studies, conservation, and museum studies. AAH publishes Art History, the Art Book, and Bulletin (a newsletter), organizes an annual conference, and sponsors other activities.

Association for Art History
